We are a family with a small homestead in the Ozarks. Our desire is to search out the Truth in a quest for a Biblical world view, which is looking at the world through the eyes of God, seeing it as He sees it-lost. Information presented here is left to the reader to decide any action to be taken, but we do strongly encourage those who read here to pray fervently.

Hello Scott,
Welcome to the world of blogging.
Question for you regarding your comment: "... and the summers can be terribly hot.". We're hoping that someday, Lord willing, we'll move to the Springfield area. Can you share with me what the summers are like?
Hi Zed, I tried to send you an email but it didn't go through. The temps range from the mid to upper 90's from July to August. It is about 5-10 degrees cooler in Springfield, which is about 80 miles North-East of us. The city is situated on a plateau, which, I think, helps keep it cooler. By terribly hot I mean that it was too hot for the weaker cornish-X broilers we raise. Our summer batch all died, except 2.
