One More Note on Lespedeza

I was walking around the farm the other day and came across some Korean Lespedeza growing in one spot. So, I started looking around and found some more. This indicates to me that, at some time in the past, this Lespedeza grew here. Now that I know what it looks like, anyway. I have pulled it out of the garden, in seasons past, and fed it to the cows, not knowing what it was, but the cows loved it. Now that I have found it growing here I am discouraged. It is growing in places other than my pastures! It is coming up in the orchard and garden and on the driveway. I planted it in a mixture this past February in the pasture, but haven't noticed it sprouting yet. (The ground may not be warm enough for seedlings yet as it is a warm season plant.) But hey, I now know that it will grow on this soil.

Read the article below for a good description on this type of Lespedeza.
