Alan's blog

This is the first time I have seen Alan Nation's blog at the Stockman Grassfarmer's website. I have to say, it is pretty cool. In it you will find short articles that directly affect graziers around the world. There is a plethora of information there.

I read an interesting post on his blog about native grasses being better for soil production than modified grasses. You don't say? (Heavy sarcasm.)

Other good posts by Mr. Nation to note are the ones about Big Corn taking on Big Chicken, very thought provoking. Another post to note is the expectation of rising (yes I said rising) cattle prices. Analysts are saying the cattle prices will continue to rise the rest of this year and into 2010. (In my opinion, this is directly dependant on the coming Depression.)
