This week's Fertrell Product is the Dairy Nutribalancer. Those of you who peruse this blog, may be in the business of raising Pastured Poultry and may already have a good understanding of Fertrell's Poultry Nutribalancer but did you know about their dairy line? The same principle applies with dairy cows, as well. They need the minerals and vitamins that are generally lacking in purchased feed and hay and even from the depleted soil. Fertrell's Dairy Nutribalancer comes in three specially designed formulas with all the vitamins formulated specifically for Fertrell, all naturally.
Each 50 pound bag also contains chelated trace minerals for the highest level of micro-nutrient absorption.
That's not all. There are also those much needed probiotics. These are direct fed microbial for increased nutrient digestibility and feed efficiency.
Depending on your cow's diet, there are three different formulas to choose from. 
#1 is designed for cow's whose diets consist of mainly legumes or high calcium forages. #2 is for cow's that eat legumes in combination with some corn silage. #3 is designed for those animals that eat mostly corn silage in combination with legumes (the reverse of #2). All three can be blended into a custom feed mix, or side dressed at a rate of 2 oz. per day for maintenance with an additional 1 oz. per day for every ten pounds of milk produced.
Dairy heifers should receive 2-4 oz. per day according to age and quality of forages.
