So, What's Newt?

This was so neat, I thought I'd share some pictures. We were working in the garden a couple of weeks ago and my lovely wife was shoveling some compost out of the bin. This is what she uncovered....





...It was a Newt! We had never seen one of these before!

It just goes to show, you never know what you'll find under all that compost. These pictures were taken with the newt crawling on our daughter's arm. Pretty cool! As homeschoolers, we find these discoveries both fascinating and fun!
