On the Fourth Day Of Christmas...

I know y'all know the song, so you must know what comes next, right? You guessed it, four calling birds.

The four calling birds are a reminder of the four Gospel writers. Can you name them? Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The fellows wrote the first four books of the New Testament and they announced the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Just like the loud voice of calling birds, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John spread abroad the good news of Jesus' life, death, burial and resurrection, calling people of all nations to faith in Jesus Christ, their (your) savior.

Joh 20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: Joh 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Keep coming back for the rest of the 12 days of Christmas, you won't regret it.

Also, be on the lookout for a couple of great links involving this story! If you homeschool, like us, you will appreciate this little bonus. Thanks for stopping by...
