The sixth day of Christmas brings us to six geese a-laying. This is interesting because of what the egg, itself, represents-new life.
In many cultures around the world, the egg symbolizes new life, and the six eggs produced from the six geese a-laying came to mean just that. The six days that God spoke life into being. When He spoke, He filled the earth with plants, birds, animals and people as found in the first chapter of the book of Genesis.
Ge 1:1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Ge 1:31 ¶ And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Stay tuned for days seven through twelve!
